The contemporary Hopper or Appam is rooted in age-old South Indian traditions, a delicate lattice pancake of rice and coconut traditionally served alongside the healthy dishes of South India and Sri Lanka.  Just as Manoj would serve in his home of Kerala the team at Kalpa put the Hopper at the heart of casual, healthy and gentle flavours of South Indian dining.  All of the food at Kalpa is immediately served as it is prepared: fresh, fragrant and supremely flavoursome.
